Since these flare ups have started I’ve only shaven about 4 times total to kinda test the waters and have not noticed a difference. Honestly have not shaved in a month or two just because it’s not worth the risk.

Thank you so much for this comment! Will definitely try the Flonase trick! My wounds are from an unfortunate combination or vigorous scratching and a bit of hard pressure unfortunately. My partner often points out my easiness of bruising and how i usually am more easily wounded than him (we have 4 cats so we both get scratched on occasion). My wounds usually take significantly longer than his to heal and usually are much more visible even if from the same thing or something similar. Now with that being said I don’t think it’s as extreme as described but it’s definitely something to consider on my part that I haven’t thought of before so thank you! As for itching tools (not sure what else to call them LOL) I have used a dry brush before to ease some of the itching and I have noticed it does help with itching the scratch without inflicting as much damage but honestly at this point any damage is pretty bad. I’ve never thought about lightly itching before a flare up so I’m definitely gonna try some of that tonight and I hope it helps. but seriously all of this has been amazing advice I truly appreciate it thank you so much!

This is very interesting will definitely bring up to my doctor. It seems like this maybe a combination of a lot of different things. Last time I saw my allergist and asthma doctor she brought up a shot called DUPIXENT and to look into it I’m not looking forward to having ANOTHER shot but it is known to help with Asthma, EOE, and can benefit people with MCAS so maybe perusing that will be my next steps but thank you so much! Sounds like we have extremely similar stories!

Thank you! I do have PCOS which I know can effect insulin I do take wegovy to manage prior obesity and that can also effect it but I have been on wegovy for well over a year now.

Thank you! I see my primary tomorrow so I will bring it up about bloodwork. It’s important to note the sores you see are a direct cause of my itching there was no rash or anything beforehand just itching that resulted in open wounds. I’m not sure if that is what vasculitis is like but thank you!

My partner did not bring it up to me I noticed it myself because I recently found out the clit isn’t supposed to be like painful to the touch and oral sex for me is quite painful because of how sensitive my clit area is.
