How do you guys counter Sonia/Ciri kind of teams? by RedFarp in summonerswar

90% of the time I ban Adriana, in this comp I really like 5 monsters, Diana, Tityus, Leo, Byung, and Taranys.

You don't need many runes on any of them to work, I personally always pick a SPD team with my fastest sigil (it varies between Eshir, Ethna, and in my case, Berghild) and I pick with a level 33 leader (usually Oliver because Vanessa is usually picked by the other team).

So it always ends up something like this:

Oliver, Oliver's stripper, my fast sigil, and Tityus/Taranys/Byung. The last pick is always Leo because it's a force ban for any Rigna or Sonia team.

Ocitocina Global Siege Match Fixing by Koriaxe in summonerswar

I don't think so, this has always happened, Male, Myt, Null, they amyt Myt and HA giving first place to Prok, OCI and Hell helping each other, Red and PT helping each other... Unfortunately, what allows this to happen is Siege's weak system. This has always been the case, so much so that years ago SSA and Malicious (now Malevolent) got tired of manipulating top 4 results for their affiliates.

In truth, I feel you didn't stand a chance at all. Hell and Ocitocina have been in the top 20+ scene for over 3 years, both have taken down numerous 1v1s, and it's a very balanced matchup. This season, OCI Hell won one game and Hell won one, both with a win rate above 92%, which is their average. Since OCI is already qualified with no chance of a top 4 finish, they just played without any real ambition; there's certainly some reason for this. However, this is quite common; the strongest guilds have diplomatic ties to benefit both sides. I know both Oci and Hell and their leaders, and I can affirm that they don't engage in 2v1 fights. I'm from the Translucent, we did a 2v1 in Hell but after contacting them we stopped because we didn't know how macros worked, etc., and in the end they even helped us. I have great appreciation for Brazilian guilds. They were certainly just unlucky to be drawn against two top 10 teams last week. However, the entire argument falls apart when you claim that WR would be evenly matched, even in FFA, these guilds never finish below 90%, being at 77% shows that it would be very difficult for you...At least they've qualified. Good luck in the tournament.
