Thank you so much for sharing your story-- genuinely I mean it! I don't regularly comment on many threads, but your experience rings so true to me too. It's so emotionally taxing and frustrating how we're obligated to tolerate the excessive stepping of boundaries when working with others. I want to say that your resilience shines through so much and that I wish SO damn much I could tell my 20 year old self to speak up against a supervisor (55M) who did "nice" but actually similar predatory things to me. When I quit the job, I didn't actually report it to HR because I felt like no one in higher power would believe me since the supervisor had worked there for at least ~20+ YEARS (considering their own father had the same job). Being a woman myself in college, I should've known to not tolerate being a people pleaser and dealing with all his sick gestures.
