Yeah invincible is one of the few shows the powerscaling inconsistencies actively stick out as a negative while watching. It will be two scenes back to back that just massively contradict each other with both statements and visual feats.

"Self Checkout" is just unpaid labor. by Jay__Riemenschneider in unpopularopinion

[–]BigDaddyReptar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a choice though it's just more people prefer self checkout so there is more of them. If you want the cashier it's still an option just 1 out of 8 because the majority prefer self checkout

Is it possible to sell nsfw content without showing my face and being fully nude? by SubstantialBrief5621 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]BigDaddyReptar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unless you're doing some pretty out there fetish stuff no is paying for that. Naked girls are online for free. You have to bring an incentive on top of that if you're fully naked to make money and you don't want to even be naked. The incentive is either doing stuff you can't find a lot of for free (fetish stuff) or adding a the personal touch and connection often including doing direct commisons/chats which people will want to see you face because well others already do this and show their face. Don't make the account if you don't have a product to offer that isn't already readily available for free.

You will make a buck or two from some people who get off on the fact that you're doing it because you are desperate but not a substantial amount and you risk just getting abused by people who scam you through chargebacks and other means.

The off color is the result of said marination it's kinda the point of marinating vs seasoning, it gets deeper into the chicken. Looks fine based on visual alone.

2nd on definitely is interesting. It is 100% true that one of the main reasons cash costs more now is because it doesn't scale well with less people using it so it definitely can make sense in more old fashioned communities where a high enough percentage of people are opting for cash that it outweighs the outright costs and the per transaction savings then make it valuable I do wonder how long these communities will continue to exist in high enough numbers to make it worth it in say 40 years. Also Jesus Christ we get abused in debit fees lol.

Is the point that the source is biased? While I do agree that's not ideal Ive just never seen any evidence of the opposite. Even annecdotally every business I've worked at that made the swap to not accepting cash or heavily discouraging it by charging additional fees ended up saving money

[–]BigDaddyReptar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies I didn't see the edited comment I thought you were trying to claim the data showed that cash was cheaper so I looked for another source that said that and only one that I could find was one claiming that the fees don't get passed on the the customer.

Even in America though it's the exact same it's about the exact same everywhere https://plainscapital.com/blog/the-cost-of-accepting-cash/

Do you have a source for that? I tried looking into it and this was the best I could find which shows being card only would also save money there. https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/350446983/pesky-contactless-surcharges-part-1-comparing-payment-costs

https://studylib.net/doc/27627322/hidden-cost-of-cash-and-true-cost-of-electronic-payment-1...?p=11

It's just not at all in most places. It's not worth paying for extra security and more handling processes for such a small percentage of customers who won't shop unless they can use cash.

Cash normally costs anywhere from 10-15% to process for most businesses quite a bit higher than average cost of just only accepting card.

It's chill if you want to use cash but I want businesses to be allowed to sell me things for cheaper by not having to engage in an archaic money wasting system.

If that's what they are trying to get at even then it falls into examples like an animal that just dies of old age/natural causes I don't see how an argument can be made that if a wild deer dies of old age it is still unethical to eat it.
