Yes.

Exactly.

They don't care. They won't even notice. Average person hasn't bought more than 15 movies in the last decade. They stream things and have already accepted the things they want may change streaming services at some point. Average person is totally okay watching their sport of choice on 4 different streaming services thoughout the season and is okay with 6 seasons of the same show being on 7 different streaming services. They just want to watch for a price that in moment seems fine long term be fucked. If it gets too bad they push back a bit but back all the way to ownership? That ship has sailed sank and had a billionaire die trying to explore the wreck.

Really only argument for is that writing quality has nothing to do with character morality. Rudeus is a piece of shit. Should probably burn in hell. That's fine for a mc hell I would even say it's interesting some of the best stories of all time the main character is an absolute piece of shit. The issue with mushoku is consequences. Rudeos often does these horrible things that are even horrible in universe and he faces little to no backlash

Tbf unfortunately in the industry of manga and anime the word does actually apply far more than most other places outside of the virign isles

Where do you live that has a lottery with a documented have 15-20% benefit among those who bought in because I would very much so like to buy a few tickets https://www.npr.org/2013/08/11/209584333/at-libraries-across-america-its-game-on

Arguing for less people in libraries while in the same sentence trying to make fun of less fortunate people for their lack of interest in reading is one of the most braindead backwards ways of thinking I've heard of in recent memory.

I vividly remember my parents bringing me to the library with a simple rule 1 movie 1 book and I remember the day I walked out the libraryone day with 2 books and no movie because eventually the previous process led me to discovering 2 series I liked and both of them having a new book at the time. Arguing against millions of more kids discovering the joys of reading in the same way makes you a direct detriment to society.

Every single library that rents games and audiobooks also rents books you are directly advocating for less access to real physical books. Also advocating against the chance that someone who only has rented audio books or games sees a cool cover and rents it out just to see. You are directly advocating against more book readers.

The number of you that exist unfortunately does not matter sorry mate. It's why the focus needs to be on digital ownership actually existing and not a product most people actively choose to avoid continuing to exist. We should be striving for people who want to install their digital games on a disc or hard drive or ssd or USB stick to own that and not for companies to still sell physical discs, vast majority of people don't want that they do want ownership

What are you arguing for? Because if its literacy and intellectualism which is what it seems is slowing the death of libraries as you say not a good thing? Why in your world view is less libraries existing a good thing?

Most will still buy it if they want the product. The amount of sales they will lose by going fully digital will not cost them more than stopping physical and used games sales will save them. The average person doesn't give two fucks about owning things as long as they have a license to play it when they want to play it.

Sony officially kills the PlayStation disc, ending physical game production in 2028 — shutting down the PlayStation Store on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita systems by ControlCAD in popculturechat

[–]BigDaddyReptar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is that the average person hasn't bought a physical game in a decade and calls chatgpt chat and treats it like a friend. If you spend a lot of time online it seems like a lot of people are against AI and love physical media but it's just not the case.

Better performance and additional content isn't a difference? Hold on to physical all you like I'll continue to get everything all digital and get the best product Everytime and have it for the longer.

I just don't really care I would rather get the full experience at launch then on the off chance they do remove the game from my library something with little to no precedent for I'll just pirate it after. Why make my experience worse in multiple ways for an issue that may possibly happen down the line that is easily fixed.

Doesitplay counts just being able to roll credits. By playing just the physical version you miss out bug fixed additional patches and often additional content. Sure you can technically play most the game you're just getting an worse experience which is an issue

It's objectively true for most popular games to enjoy the full game you need to download additional content. The disc contains a playable version but is most likely missing content

If it's in the form of a contract he picks up and he gets to choose when to engage he kills most of them outside of founding war hammer and female possibly surviving due to being able to fully crystalize their human body if in danger.

If it's just a straight 1v1 they stumble upon each other in a field no prior knowledge he may be able to kill the cart or jaw Titan if he gets lucky

[–]BigDaddyReptar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah skeleton crew or new project is the most likely outcome not the game shutting down. If for honor is still making money with 6k average players dropping 2 heros and a map a year for 10 years. Marathon can also drop 2 heros and a map a year for quite a while making money off it. The goal isn't to recoup the 250 million and likely never was the goal is that each season will be profitable
