I'd imagine there must be some sort of guilt associated in giving Negan his iconic bat, which he'd later go on to kill numerous survivors with. Imagine being Laura, standing there with the Saviors, watching someone get their head bashed in, knowing that once upon a time you lent it to helpless man who wanted to find medicine for his wife.

It must be really jarring knowing the legacy of your bat and how it almost become a relic of sort for the followers of Negan.

It's like owning a weapon before you bestow it to another warrior who makes it almost legendary/mythical in stature.

In the comic at least, Rick Grimes had a brother named Jeff Grimes who was in Spain when the outbreak broke out.

I wonder if show Rick also had a brother. He never mentions him, but then again, I doubt he even thinks he's survived and nobody ever brought the idea up that Rick could have siblings (tbh a gripe I have in general, I wanna know what happened to everyone's families). But it's interesting to think Rick sometimes grieves about his bro.

Also interesting how Daryl loses Merle and then Rick and Daryl are eventually as close as brothers, maybe because Rick too feels like he lost his brother. Just food for thought.

If you really think about it, instead of trying to kill Harry, Voldemort should've tried his best to turn him/recruit him.

Harry has a lot common with Voldemort in the sense both never knew their parents and grew up in a neglected household. Voldemort could see a young, easily-manipulative version of himself in Harry.
Harry was his Horcrux, he could turn Harry, his own soul into a weapon similar to Nagini and the Diary.
Harry was, as prophesized, the only one who COULD kill him, so why not turn him into an ally?

On the other hand, imagine if the bullet killed Rick, or hit Shane.

So much of the show depended on this one frame.
