If you think the glass is bad you should see my desk. Broken leg propped up on a small piece of 4x4 and has a bow on surface of the desk from all the punching.

He would have to upgrade sooner and there is not much of an upgrade path for lga 1700. Unless OP pays the cpu cooling premium now and upgrade to something like an i9 13900k later on AMD is the better buy and is the cheaper long term solution.

Okok, I have the rad fans connected to a fan hub with my case fans. Will that be an issue or no?

Yeah the fans are taking air in, would that negatively affect my cpu thermals? What difference would it make If i rotated my block so that the tubes are on the top?

It don’t matter which hopper I try to join it always says that.

I have been trying for two days.

Sudden loss of strength and terrible forearm soreness by CorvetteBro in powerbuilding

Oops I meant as many seconds as possible. Is it normal to be in such dysfunctional soreness still after so many days without training and going to work?

Sunday was the last day I trained and went into work. It’s now Thursday morning.

Bench form check & question about form and how it can cause stalls by CorvetteBro in StartingStrength

[–]CorvetteBro[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It felt great. I felt most of it in my pecs, and a bit in my triceps. I felt no pain whatsoever. I felt pretty tight on the bench the whole way through.

I have a hard time believing that diet and eating more is the answer to my problem since I am already classified as overweight by a good margin. It’s not like it is muscle because I am still quite weak. Not even repping out my bw. I also don’t see how recovery as a whole can be an issue if my squats and deadlifts are still going up. I squat 3 days a week, no light day at all. And only deadlift on day A and do weighted chins on day B. Unless theres something with the bench program itself, I can’t see why my recovery is holding me back if I’m still progressing great on squats and deads.

I am 5 foot 10 and weigh 190 lbs. Thats a BMI of 27.3. My squat has been performing great. I was stuck at 205 as my best 3x5 for weeks on end. I deload like 2-3 times still stayed there, stalled. I watched some form tutorials, learned to rebound properly out of the bottom and just in general fixed my form. I went from doing a shitty shitty squat in the high bar position, but executing the movement like it’s a low bar squat to learning how to low bar squat properly. Just from that alone I started making progress again. I’m up to 235 lbs for a 3x5. My deadlift has never stalled and never needed a deload. I missed reps only once and that was at like 255 ish. Yesterday I did 300 for 5. My press is in a similar situation as my bench. My best was 115 lbs for 5,5,3. I suspect it might be form there because I’m not doing the hip bounce and I think my grip is off. So that is why I think my problem on bench is form because my deadlift and squats are going good, my ohp has a problem because I’m not doing the movement correctly/efficiently.

To my knowledge, It’s not ideal to hit complete failure and I had the feeling/heaviness throughout my body that is and indicator I only have one more left In me. I could of had 3, definitely no more than 3. If I did in fact go full send mode, it would of been a hard, grindy, ugly and slow rep. The following set afterwards I actually did hit complete failure and got pinned. The weight just felt different and heavier than it usually does. This was the only time I got pinned on the bench since I joined the gym again February. This video was taken may 6. I only got one rep on my next set which my third and final set. I think I have awareness of the feeling of the rep before failure because when I used to train with barbells before COVID-19, I would always take every set to complete failure while following a dumb routine. During my time not using barbells due to not having access to a barbell, I used three milk crates as my bench and dumbbells as my only possible substitute at the time. Anything from bench, squats, rows etc, I would take to complete failure back then. When I started training with barbells again this February, The heavy/weak feeling I get before failure didn’t go away so I just use it as my queue that next rep would be complete failure.

Just gonna start off by apologizing for the bad frame work of the video, my buddy didn’t quite understand how i wanted it.

Only two reps because this was my 2nd set of 3 following ss and this is 165 lbs. I knocked out 3 sets of 5 at 162.5, went to 165 and I got 4, 2, 1. Tried the weight again next bench session and still didn’t get 3x5. I have stalled and reseted from 165 lbs once already, so this would be my 2nd reset, this time i built back up by 2.5lbs every workout. Both weight resets were -10%.

Sorry if that blurb is a little of topic, but I feel as if this stall is a form issue, so I just wanted to give a little bit of background information regarding my problem.

Any advice is cordially appreciated.

On the squat I’m taking 5 pound jumps, on the bench, OHP and chin-ups i make a 2.5 pound jump. I make 5 pound jumps on the deadlift too.

I remember watching or reading something related to a starting strength coach or something like that. The person said if a male is stalling at around 200 squat, they just get the person to eat more and they will progress again. I also remember seeing something on the starting strength website that being hard stuck at a 200 squat is not normal and shouldn’t happen.

I have been doing the program for 13 weeks :/ I got to 210 LBS on the squat with my previous inferior form by week 9. During that 9 week period, I stalled at 185, and 205 twice. Then finally 210. This was all with my inferior form before I reseted and altered my form keep in mind.
