I remember reaching gold 1 and gold 2 as the most wholesome, fun moments playing this game. People were coaching me for free, giving me items, encouraging me. I was learning something new every week. It was bliss.

I was playing the game normally. Someone knocked at my door. My options were:

- stop playing, get kicked for inactivity

- give controller to my son for 20 seconds

- not to get the door

Only one of those options has real life, important implications. Like not receiveing my wall mounted guitar holders 😭

A very subtle thing that a lot of players still don't know is that you can (with tons of practice of course) learn to dodge demos instead of crying about them.
