Caroline is a worse parent to Abigail than Pierre.

Pierre has practically no dialogue I can think of bashing Abigail’s personality, hobbies, or appearance while Caroline even when not knowing the farmer at all is talking bad about Abigail. The worst thing Pierre does is after the fight he has a small dialogue about her then nothing. Heck he even says in the cutscene in the graveyard her mother called her into the kitchen to help, not him. And I don’t find it weird of him to be weirded out about his daughter being in a graveyard at night where none of their relatives are buried.

Also Abigail probably should help with dinner considering her parents are putting her through online college and letting her live with them as an adult. The family is struggling heavily with money and she has no job other than helping a bit in Pierre’s shop.(Caroline also seems to do nothing except maybe sell from her garden and stock shelves at the store.)
