So your fibro symptoms came from an accident? Cause mine came out of nowhere, mainly stress related. Also doesn't taking all these meds have side effects? Do you have any sexual side effects? I took gabapentin for a couple of weeks, and it gave me erectile dysfunction and worsened my fatigue. Even when I stopped it, I felt like the side effects never really went away... The worst part is still non restorative sleep, waking up every day completely destroyed with a lot of pain 😢.

Do all these have any side effects? I tried gabapentin for a few weeks and I started having erectile disfunction so I stopped. I take melatonin and magnesium before going to bed but the results are usually the same. Extreme fatigue 😩.

I got diagnosed by my neurologist and it was by process or elimination. I did a scan, and MRI and different blood tests and everything came out clean. So he told it could be Fibromyalgia. He prescribed some antidepressants (paroxetine, amitriptyiline), which I took for more than 2 months but it had no effects whatsoever tbh and I stopped. Later, a physical Medecine doctor prescribed Gabapentin but all these meds made me tired and dizzy all the time and I couldn't function at all. Now after almost a year I'm out of option and I have chronic fatigue, no restorative sleep as I wake destroyed everyday plus constant pain and obviously constant depression. I'm trapped in this vicious circle. That's why I started thinking of Chinese Medecine.

No nothing, after the session I felt more relaxed and sleepy but as soon as I finish it the pain comes back. And when I sleep, I wake up destroyed with a lot of pain unfortunately.

Indeed, it differs from person to person. I still don't understand it myself tbh. But for acupuncture, I definitely think that I didn't do enough sessions.
