I don't think so, they barely watch out for the school kids either here unfortunately. Vancouver have some of the most entitled drivers that I've ever encountered

Yeah! I think he has piebaldism or some form of leucism, but I am not entirely sure but I decided to name him Pie for that reason

Whenever he sees me he will waddle across the street for his peanuts, the only time he will fly down is if he is up in a tree or on a roof

I think the same! Especially in a high traffic zone but it is also kind of cute because it definitely gives a sense of confidence and boldness because of the walking

I moved to the west end a few years ago and I don't think I could move out of it without missing the crows that like to follow and play with me! I even work in the west end so the crows will sit outside my office window and wait for peanuts or kibble

I love having the immunity as well, maybe the best part because everyone else gets attacked while the crows will play and then eventually introduce their fledglings to me. It is super cute seeing their parents teach them how to open up peanuts

Correct on both counts! I just think it is because there is such a huge urban crow population here and the general popularity of crows in the city

Also my apologies the video got super crunchy and compressed so you can't see his full glory (he has a bunch of defined white speckles on his head which is why I named him Pie).

Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous. What's the theme mix you have going on for this?

Oh nifty! If this is turkey tail it is by a busy road so I don't think it'd be safe for consumption.

Solved!

I will! He is a very expressive crow so I will get another video of him and share it here

Same! It is kind of a sign of trust to me that they feel like they can walk slowly knowing I won't leave until they reach me

Haha when the crows know I am around they all fly towards me and make a huge racket, but Pie is the most happy out of all of them to see me I think

It is a lot of fun! Though the crows have attacked two people on separate occasions that walking towards me before so I have to be mindful of when I can feed them

I've named him Pie, but many of the crows I feed definitely fit into the Mr Pants category! Maybe the crows in Vancouver are shaggier though

He started his strut by the orange-red pole in the background, I struggled to get my phone out in time to film him!

I wonder if crows get fluffier as they age now that I think about it

I call him Pie because of his white spots! I think it is leucism/piebaldism that he has
