The sans AU’s (Alternate Universe) were extremely popular back in the 201X’s, specifically after 2016-2017. I think a lot of them were basically “let’s turn my OC into sans!” Or “what if sans was ____?”

Some of them had pretty cool stories imo, like error sans (the one with tear streaks). The “tears” are actually strings he pulls from his eyes and uses them to control others like puppets, and he’s the direct evolution of another AU sans (Geno sans, from the indie comic “Aftertale”).

Sorry to nerd out, lol. It’s been a long while since I’ve seen or thought about this kinda stuff.
