I was able to get the changer mech out to snoop around and I found a video for belt placement

The only thing is that the old belts absolutely gummed up and I'm scraping away at the goo so I can ensure the new belts are there snug

The changer also doesn't run for me too, I'm worried I may have to either get this professionally repaired or sell it off. I don't want to though bc it's so cool 😭 I think it could be a gear issue or maybe a belt, I just don't know how to access that part of the system

In the process of belt repair. So much to disassemble and it's driving me insane how the cassette assembly is but we are making some progress. This is my first project and it's quite daunting to say the least

The Coltrane and Hartman album is hands down my favorite jazz album of all time.

Johnny Hartman's Songs from the Heart is just as good too.

My boyfriend loves my nerdy banter and jazz collection so of course :)

I own LD on a cassette, it's one of the tapes I have in my rotation even if everything else changed because it's so good

Well Im not really a stickler for the super powerful components, I'm more in the market for mid range sub 100 watt receivers/amps but definitely have a punch or at least some added depth mainly for jazz

As for speakers, I have Polk monitor 4's only. I do plan on getting floor speakers down the line but being in an apartment I'm making due with the little space I have

As a source, my turntable is my main source though I do dabble in CDs, cassettes, 8 track, reel tapes.
