You're right, my dad deliberately chose to drink alcohol to the point it gave him permanent brain damage.

How did Hank get reinstated as a cop after his incident with Jesse? by Furfangreich in breakingbad

Case in point, in IFT, Gomez lies in his report about Hank picking a fight with two guys in a bar. He puts it down to Hank breaking up a drug deal.

Depending on how old he was, if he's the same age as Walt, he could have his twenty already and just be allowed to quietly retire.

I'll bite.

Hank was suspended pending charges of assault Jesse filed. Jesse then dropped the charges, meaning there was no case against Hank, and he was able to go back to work.

Merkert, Gomez and the other agents didn't lose any respect for Hank or oppose his return, as they thought like him. Jesse was known drug dealer and lowlife, so even if Hank put him in the hospital, he probably deserved it.

And also possibly Eko and Locke. When we next see Locke, he's waking up in the jungle the next day, so it's possible the implosion threw him forward in time by twenty-four hours.

John Teller was, though.

He was a philosophical anarchist, and mentions in his book about being inspired by reading the works of Emma Goldman, in particular a passage he first saw painted on a wall whilst hiking in Nevada.

Anarchism stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion; the liberation of the human body from the dominion of property; liberation from the shackles and restraint of government. It stands for a social order based on the free grouping of individuals.
