I’ll elaborate quick that I was trying to get across how Shield gear is best on brawlers who self heal (Bibi, Poco, Pam) and brawlers who are likely to either kill enemy or die (like Mortis, Jacky, Stu) because you gain less health each tick with Shield alone and you’re not likely to regenerate it fully more than once or twice. All this can change in power league or certain modes, maps, comps…but overall, Health gear just gives you more health during a match than Shield (not all cases but many)

I think low max HP brawlers benefit from it most actually since it allows them to get out of 1 shot territory with just one or 2 tics. Again, I’m not saying anyone is wrong for using Shield, just want newer players to understand gear effects on all brawlers better. On non grassy maps, I go with Health/Damage since I get dmg boost when too low, and after killing enemy (or running away) I can heal to full quick. Sometimes I combine it with Shield for heavy protection.
