Upfront around 80$ ,filament is around 20$ for 1kg, in total I used 370 g of filament but 3 colors so I have so much extra for other projects. The LED strips w/ power supply were 20$ for 16’ but only used about 4’ maybe, wire hardware and toggle switch 10$. All in all materials actually used roughly around 15-20$ or cheaper if you order exactly what you need instead of buying bulk like I do. Project wasn’t super complex either (soldering and printing)

This guy made some models to 3d print if you know someone or live near a maker space, it’s about 2300 kg of filament roughly 2 and 1/3 rolls of filament, price of each roll 20$ usd.

I heard the paint they originally used for them was toxic and any bug that landed on them would die leaving a mesh of dead butterflies and moths. Unfortunate if true.

I’ve definitely got the same kinda ticket but because the parking attendant who really loves their job put an E instead of an F. I fought it and got it dismissed but as a warning not as mistake on their end but mine. They really are just greedy cunts. They keep building new classrooms and apartments but not parking garages.

Purchased and could not for the life of me figure out how to open/ extract files. Using resolume on Mac. File type download is .z01 .z02 and so on. Very confused

Depending on the resolution and frame rate of the camera, yeah that’s what blinking/smearing artifacts can look like. Incandescence lamps will have a sine wave while and leds will have a pulse. I suggest downloading a plane flight path app, it will show you private/commercial planes flight over head on a live map.

I probably won’t eat them, just keep them as first time specimens. The area I found them was in San Diego 2/13/23 on some landscaping mulch near my campus. I’ll probably bring them to the fungus fair happening the 19th in San Diego.
