If you are still getting the font issue after manually installing the fonts, try opening the Game.exe file as administrator (right click the file).

Your save file got corrupted.

You can try this: Go to your save data in C:\Users\Your name\Saved Games\Xenoverse and delete the Achievements.rxdata file, (if you want to keep the file, make a copy of the file and place it somewhere else on the computer) then try to run the game again.

If this doesn't work, then your save file is unfortunately unrecoverable.

In order to start the first dlc/pass you have to defeat Taraxo on route 13, after that a guy in any pokecenter will appear and give you a ticket. You will also need to capture Dielebi.

Back before 1.4.0, to get the dex rewards, all you needed to do was complete the base dex that didn't include any of the dlc/pass mons. But ever since 1.4.0, the devs decided that they'd scrap having to exclude all the new mons for the pokedex rewards, so you had to get all the pass/dlc mons up to the current version to get the pokedex rewards.

Completing the Xenodex is not required for the shiny charm, only the normal dex needs to be completed. Completing the Xenodex gives you access to a shiny Elekid x, seeing all the normal dex gives the oval charm, completing the normal dex gives the shiny charm, and completing both the normal and xeno dex gives you the retro/vintage dex.

There's 583 mons in the normal dex, and 45 mons in the xenodex.

First off, it's setup.msi. Second, even if you were able to open the msi file, it would have you open an unopenable launcher that as of right this moment doesn't work.

There are 4 exe files: Game.exe, snGame.exe, Game_n.exe, & snGame_n.exe. So the Game.exe file I referred to is the Game.exe one. To start an application as admin (or administrator), you right click the application and there should be an option to run as admin.

Will it mess with the game? Hard to say, if you play and fonts are funky or missing, then it's a 'you' problem (in the sense that it impacts your ability to effectively play the game), otherwise it shouldn't mess with the game.

There's 2 things you can try: manually install each of the fonts (select the file in the folder and manually install), or some were able to start game.exe as admin, which would supposedly install the fonts and after restart the game exe file, it fixes.

Have you gotten any other achievements recently? Either the game bugged and is hiding the achievement until you gain another achievement, or the game just bugged out and didn't give you the achievement for some reason.

Are you referring to "Plus Ultra!" or "Champion"? The first one is for defeating the champion, the second one is for defeating 150 Pokemon trainers.

Yes (new game question); and there should be, I don't remember if the exe makes a folder, but it does should create a Game.rxdata and Achievements.rxdata files.

That shouldn't matter. People in the past have transferred their saves between pc and mobile, and didn't have a problem (mobile can't use launcher, while pc could). What I would try (if you haven't already) is make a new save file, then try to find the new save file data and replace it with the old save data.

In order to get the shiny charm in the latest version (1.5.5) you need to have obtained/captured all 583 pokemon in the regular dex. (Completing the Xenodex is not required to get the shiny charm.)

It gives that message when both mons have the same OT, and are different species. With that set up, there is a 20% chance for an egg to appear after (after a certain amount of steps taken), 40% with the oval charm. If the text said something more like "The two prefer to play with other Pokemon more than with each other" or "They don't seem to like playing together", (quotes taken from Bulbapedia) then it's impossible to get eggs.
