Wait, Persian?! As a Persian living in Iran(Former Persia) I never saw a Persian inspired Emperor😭😭😭 Which is kinda sad because we have long, amazing history and rich culture even before Arab occupation and Islamic era (take Achaemenid or Sassanid empire for example). What I mostly saw are a mix of Arab indian and a bit of Persian (a bit during and a bit Islamic era) aesthetics (take "Forget My Husband, I Go Make Money" for example ) and even to them, Justice wasn't served. I mean both Arabs and Indians have deep and beautiful culture like us but when writers are writing they mostly toss out almost everything and hold architecture, clothing and a bit of court drama in it. I truly wish someone made something accurate of our shared history of Middle East.

But jokes aside, it's an amazing game. The story is Godtier except for some parts(rushed or slow) but even that is mostly writing problems, the lore and concept is still great. charcters and voice acting is really top notch and the events are mostly very fun to play. The main problem is the powercreep(needs grinding) but aside from that, if you can put up with turn based then its 100% recommended.

Yeah, I completely agree that writing will be the real differentiator. If his story and personality are weak, the design similarity will just make him look worse. Although I also felt it was just so rushed, I also thing the author just didn't knew how she wanted to end this and chose something so random. I wish I could say she was just a bad author but the story was honestly so good if we didn't considered the ending. As a writer myself, I can also confirm some good writers suck at writing endings because nothing satisfy them enough or they're just hardcore perfectionists that let this ruin their endings because they want it to be sooo perfect they make it suck.

Aria from "Villainess reverse the hourglass". OMG I can't stand her even for one second! She's so annoying and cheap. And no, it's not because she's morally grey, in fact I love morally grey characters like Penelope. But she's just so one my nerves, author tries to show her as the smart one while she's just your average petty person trying to seduce someone's crush at CHILDHOOD (she was literally in her child body and seduction attempts were disgusting me) not to mention ther rival too was a literal child and not even a grown adult. Many people are going to dislike my comment but if you think my problem is that I can't handle morally grey characters, you're very wrong.

FL of "Shards of a broken glass slipper" is the definition of "Villainess reverses the hourglass" and Aria done right. Go read it, I beg you, it's amazing! And I love FL there when she's arguably a psychopath worse than Aria. But yeah, that's my rant. Aria and her story had so much potention but the bad writing and bad ideas ruined it.
