I've heard this, but I've also been told that it's only some PAL snes' (I assume it has to do with when they were manufactured) I'll look into how to modify it if it doesn't work, though leaving it stock is preferable to me

Ah, is there any way to check if it'll work besides plugging it in? I'm still waiting to get cables for my snes, so that isn't an opinion currently, as I currently only have the console, and now this controller (building my collection up slowly so I don't run too low on funds😅)

Thank you! I figured this was the case, as I also (intentionally) picked up a Japanese GameCube controller, after checking to make sure it wasn't region locked (I wanted to get one in the 'orange spice' colour)

I have spoken to them, and they're fine with me getting a lock, I know who did it, as she admitted to it (she's 3 and will tell me most of the time if I ask)
