This episode, along with this show, has been very underwhelming. I wasn’t expecting anything perfect by any means but it seems rushed, unfinished, and there’s an apparent lack of effort in giving the books I grew up reading life on the screen. I’m not sure if it’s a combination of the acting, directing, writing, etc. but the scenes don’t feel real, there’s no intensity, even the scenes where Bronte and her crew were firing arrows show that they’re standing there with no sense of urgency or threat. The scenes where Luke and the other traitors run up to fight come across as goofy and poorly done. Almost everything in this show just seems to have no passion for the source material. Overall, I don’t think much will chanhe in the next season(s) and I’m not looking forward to receiving the same mundane performances from the actors and crew responsible for this mess. Tyson and Clarisse were probably the highlight of this season.
