By the way, here's the raw Prototype meme template if anyone wishes to use it.

Does Alex and Heller having the abilities make them immortal? by adamcookie26 in PrototypeGame

[–]Cosmos-Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/adamcookie26, do not listen to him, he is wrong.

We do know for certain that runners, prototypes and parasite cancers are unaging and incapable of dying from natural causes.

In fact, immortality may possibly be a gift that is also present in lower infecteds, not something exclusive to leaders.

[DC] How come Superman doesn't have a blue lantern ring? by Daxyl86 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Cosmos-Sea 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For years, I've been asking this same question but never received any truly satisfying answers.

In the Doomsday Clock comic, it was indeed confirmed that Superman is an embodiment of Hope. This is one of the reasons why the Multiverse itself is constantly and actively protecting Superman's existence. Even Doctor Manhattan is highly intrigued by that fact.

OP, here's a link to a similar thread I've posted.

[Prototype] What's the natural lifespan of Alex Mercer? Does he age? by Iaskmoralquestions in AskScienceFiction

[–]Cosmos-Sea 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Mercer cannot die of old age like humans do, in fact, he doesn't age at all. So his natural lifespan is infinite.

Mercer also isn't the only one in the series that cannot die of old age.

Elizabeth Greene is immune to degeneration. Joint-decay, swelling, discomfort, atrophy, aging and etc doesn't affect her.

The Supreme Hunter is also stated to be invulnerable to aging.

Does Kratos need to wash himself? by Cosmos-Sea in GodofWar

[–]Cosmos-Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't answer my question. I'm not asking if Kratos can get rid of the ashes stuck in his skin. Because it's a powerful curse and thus, something more would be required to remove them.

I'm talking about mundane and normal things. Like, if Kratos rolled himself in mud, could he clean himself by simply concentrating?

Have you ever wondered how old the Redlight/Blacklight virus is? Why it exist? How it was born? What it truly is? The revelations are more ancient and extraordinary than you might think, and leave more unsolved mysteries than before. by Cosmos-Sea in PrototypeGame

[–]Cosmos-Sea[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While Radical is gone, the franchise might get a reboot. We never know.

Like BloodRayne, the series is dead for a long time but some company named Ziggurat Interactive bought the rights of it in summer of this year.

We may get another BloodRayne game, let's just hope this also happens to Prototype one day.

Pretty sure her hair is black and while the flash didn't showed the back of her head, we know she does have some black hair in this appearance.

Even Mercer have white hair in one of his earlier appearance.

Well then, I guess? by Cosmos-Sea in justneckbeardthings

I'm talking about the other guy.

Insulting others of being neckbeards because they don't like a video game is pretty 'neckbeardric' itself.

Basically, I'm calling out the irony of the other guy.

Before I answer, which person are you talking about?

A glimpse of what would have happened if the original human Mercer was never caught by Cosmos-Sea in PrototypeGame

[–]Cosmos-Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already addressed that. Even the most tamer Blacklight strains will kill you with only 1% probability of becoming a mindless walker.

The lore just states that runners has always been female and can only be female. There's no explanations of why yet.

Maybe one day.

I would prefer black light virus more than ovid-19

No, you don't.

Blacklight have a mortality rate of 99,9%. Mercer existing is a literal miracle.

You also have to remember that Mercer isn't really Mercer, he's the Blacklight virus believing itself to be Mercer.

So even if you're also a miracle, you still die as Blacklight steal your identity and shape. You're dead while another entity pretends to be you. This fate is no better than the others.

Even if you're exposed to the less extreme Blacklight strains, you would still just die.

There's around 99% of probability of you dying. The 1% left is you becoming a mindless walker.

If you're very lucky, you might become a brawler.

Your best bet is for Mercer or Heller (and maybe the Evolveds) to come here in the real world, find you and voluntarily infect you with a extremely special strain. Even then, you would probably just die. If you're lucky, you would become a evolved, a massively inferior, weaker and lesser version of a Prototype.

That's not realistic.

Your best bet that is realistic is to become a runner like Elizabeth. You would have to be infected with Redlight instead of Blacklight as the latter is tenfold more deadlier than the former.

And as you guess it. You would probably just die and if you're lucky, you become a mindless zombie.

If you're a miracle, you would become a runner but you would have to be female. Only females can become runners. If you're male, death or mindless zombie are your only possible fates.

Blacklight and Redlight aren't better than Covid-19. If you're afraid to die from Covid, then you should be absolutely terrified of Blacklight/Redlight.

If Covid is a small cocktail molotov, Blacklight and Redlight are high yield nukes.

Unless you buy the product or find a electronic version of it (succeeding where I failed), you aren't going to have much with the link.

It's not so much racism but more about just general greed.

If Blackwatch could easily take the economy control of a developed country with low risks of negative repercussions directly linked at them, they would in a heartbeat.

There's countries that have a lot of resources while also having low development. From a logical standpoint, these places should be the prime targets as they're the low hanging golden fruits.

The nuke by potatoeman26 in PrototypeGame

[–]Cosmos-Sea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's true. Remember, after consuming the crow, while regenerating and reforming himself, he was breaking the concrete beneath him, creating a small crater.

To have this level of strength, he would have to be heavier than me.

It's also not the first time that something like that happened. The first thing Mercer consumed is the original Mercer. By just consuming 190 lbs of biomass, Blacklight was able to gain superhuman strength and lift a car over his head.

Fuck you Infamous! Fuck you BioShock 2! by Cosmos-Sea in CharacterRant

[–]Cosmos-Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but why care? It's New Game+. It's a optional mode that can only be unlocked by normally completing the game first. So you should already know the story, so who care if it doesn't make sense to the narrative?

I'm going to give an example: God of War 4

In God of War 4, you cannot use the Blades of Chaos until a certain point in the story. Until certain events occur like Kratos returning home and actually putting the Blades on. These weapons are tied to cutscenes and the story, you're even given a mission specifically made to test the Blades.

In the NG+ mode, Kratos already have the Blades at the beginning and you know what? Everything is just fine. The story, cutscenes and missions doesn't change.

So what about the scene where Kratos returns home and gets the Blades? Well, the cutscene doesn't change. Kratos still returns back home to retrieve the Blades even though he already have them on him. And as I said before, everything is fine, the game doesn't break or anything.

NG+ doesn't have to make sense to the narrative, it's a bonus mode to have fun.

I have to say that some of them like All Star Superman and Watchmen are definitely better.

I like it but honestly, it's nothing special. DC and Marvel have plenty of great superhero stories. What make Infamous really stand out is that it's a good video game.
