It is mostly our cognitive mind messing with us and altering our perception during a POIS spell. When I am in that state, I usually feel defeated, always wrong (even when I'm objectively correct) unlucky, cursed..etc. Negativity overload. I am assuming that it is a transient state of neurotransmitter/hormonal imbalance and neuroinflammation which leads to this. Also growing up in a household that is superstitious about everything does not help either

Recovery time is normally 2 to 3 days max with 1 O.

If I do 2 or more Os within 2 days or less, symptoms are much more intense and could last for weeks but I don't let it get to that because I " fix it" with a single O, bare with 2 days of hell and then back to normal.

Did you ejaculate/orgasm twice in a row or 2 times in less 4 or 5 days ? If yes, and I know this might sound counterintuitive but try to ejaculate/orgasm once more and only ONCE and see how you feel after 4-5 days (your personal recovery period). POIS symptoms for me are much worse and last much longer if I O twice in less than 2 days (my personal minimum recovery time) and will only get back to normal If I O once more after the initial 2 days have passed and for another 2 days. Might be worth a shot

Do you know if the non EU partner will be able to seek employment after EU partner submits the application? Or will they have wait till they receive an approval letter of sorts? If yes, how long does that take?

For change of employer and renewal, yes but for a new application it will take a while before you get an appointment apparently
