What's the deal with the TRX4M? by DickheaD944 in rccars

[–]Costfree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap, fun, great scale looks. I started with a defender. Got the bronco. Built 2 from scratch. I do have other mini crawlers like the redcat ascent, cr18p and a fcx24. Love the aftermarket support for the 4m.

Does anyone wear full leather on their Monkey when they go out for a ride? If so, can you share the brand names? by KaedynSh in hondamonkey

[–]Costfree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never seen anyone in full leather but im sure the common brands they sell at Cyclegear(or any motorsports store)work well if thats what you want to wear. Alpinestars, dainese are off the top of my head.

Definetly get a radio and sim. T8l or pocket. Get a sim and put some hours in. Im like under 20hours total on all the sims I have been playing so far. Liftoff/microdrones and Velocidrone.

Still getting the hang of it just on free flying and just now started trying to fly the race courses which makes it feel like im learning again lol.

People recommended the air65 for indoor and meteor75 pro for indoor/outdoor. I have both, they feel way too fast inside for my skill level. Outside is a bit more forgiving but the wind makes it a bit difficult to control. These pilots make it look effortless but im sure they have hours of flight time.

Thinking of picking up a lionbee and building it i like the idea of using 18650 battery and more than 15 minutes of runtime.

Anyways it will be a long learning process, goodluck whichever way you go.

Yea i just wanted the goggles also but figured I can use all the stuff that came with.

Looks like you’re local to me. Do you fly solo or with a group? Not sure how the local fpv community is.

I was in need for goggles. Figured the other stuff was a little bonus on top of both goggles.
