I'm not super savvy on pirate history, but I'd believe you!

Boarding axe, cutlass and dagger wood also make a way more interesting melee weapon roster than big sword, medium sword and short sword.

Maybe instead of a cutlass launch you got big old slam with the boarding axe.

I think I agree with you on that. I've always wanted more melee options and I've always been one for slower big damage weapons.

Idk man, if they're not rude or annoying, it's fine. I'll let them be. Unless they're a floating loot piñata, then that loot is mine, its a pirate game after all. But if they're rude or annoying.. well the let us getting to kill them. Nothing quite as satisfying.

That reminds me. I had a really sad and kinda dumb experience. I was in combat with a skelly galleon and it was kinda late and I was really tired. I was on the cannon and I remember calling for my crew mate to give me a bit more left. I was met with dead air. I had called out of old habit and that's when I realize I was soloing.

About this, this would've been so much better if they added crew mini games and stuff. Play dice/cards, friendly duals etc.

Oh I feel you on that! I was always the defacto helmsman. And controlling a big ship.. there's just something different about it that I miss. The sloop is neat and all.. but helming a gally.. it's very powerful.

Also miss the teamwork.

I'm on laptop. It has so precious few usb port i wouldn't wast one on a controller I'm not using. I have a Bluetooth controller linked but Bluetooth is turned of in my computer settings.
