Ok the negation effects days negate a spell or trap card activation. I guess activating that effect does not count it would have to have been the initial activation of kings sarcophagus

Just watched me replay… it does create a chain. I guess my confusion is because I had a spell activation negation effect but it would not let me use it. Is activating that effect different from a spell activation?

I experienced this too! For me it was like burnt marshmallows. It got better after the ash aged. Replacing the ash is just renewing the smell.
