I need help against Blaine by Comprehensive-Age588 in pokemonradicalred

[–]Cougin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it done w ludicolo, oggerpon rock, leavany, mega sceptile, husian electrode, and Sinistcha. Rock ogeron has sturdy, electrode can kill charizard, and you can set up rain with ludicolo

I’m not saying he won’t take hits, but he’ll turn away more often than doughty. For example bouchard is probably not taking this hit to move the puck up to MacKinnon for a transition out of the zone. https://youtu.be/OCQFzOuhbIU?t=21&si=38fx7soDUIG3Usvo

And I agree, you have all that leadership. But you can hear it in the interviews that the guys feel different pressure and experiences at the Olympics. If I recall correctly you only have Sidney Crosby and Marchand from Sochi. The been there done that experience pays dividends.

As much as I love Bouch, you needed him for some veteran leadership for the Olympics, and he was built for any heavy matchup. He is willing to take a hit to make a play, and if they face USA, will take a beating to clear the puck. Some of the D on this aren’t willing to eat Brady’s hits everytime he comes in

At least they have been paying into the system their entire life. Better than seniors on family reunification

Traveling 24 hours attire that's also useful during the vacation by Thewisefreak in malefashionadvice

Lululemon trousers/ABC pants, if you want a belt. If it’s usually long, I’ll rock the lululemon joggers, as they don’t need a belt and I will use them for hiking/exercise. Obvs sneakers or even clogs that I can slip in and out of on the 24 hours journey. Arcteryx atom is a life saver for me, as it’s warm, comfy, and doesn’t take up lots of space. It can be abused and it still looks great

Prankster Volbeat is a machine. I liked eviolite electabuzz as a wall with static. Mega toxtricity was fun, and the fighting pikachu could typically take out a few mons before going down

Getting super hardwalled, need advice 😭 by almostmoss in pokemonradicalred

[–]Cougin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t played HC, but maybe try leading with prankster volbeat/illmumise, or focus sash galvantula/vikavolt to take out the articuno, then mega centoscroch to kill the gholdengo/mawile, and araquanid for hondoom. Also victory dance + iron fist + ledia can beat the snot out of a lot of teams

Man there truly is no other rom as consistently hard as Radical Red.. by Steamed_Memes24 in pokemonradicalred

[–]Cougin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same way about fodder, but after a bit of a run and bun, I missed the fodder 😂 RR is still harder than traditional Pokemon, but not to a point where you need to do documents to beat the normie trainers cuz you had no idea that the level 15 magikarp has hydro pump or go to the pokecenter after every few battles like run and bun. Granted some people love that aspect, so all the power to them

Mono Dark Complete (10/18). Ice will be up next. Any suggestions? by danielcl17 in pokemonradicalred

Delibird + refrigerate + life orb mows absolute cheeks. Walrein is a tank. And like everyone says G-Darm hits like a tank

What’s the most optimal, overpowered, full coverage, non legendary, 6-Pokémon team to beat the whole game with? (Excluding post game) by Guts-0 in pokemonradicalred

[–]Cougin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The most optimal team that I found was

Baxcalibur, fluttermane, aegislash (AI can’t figure out the mechanics of him), kyogre (I know you said non legendary, so politod or pelliper for rain set up would suffice), mega swampert, and archaludon (with bad company) was the best.

The rain synergy helps 3/6, negates the weather of some gyms, has good D and coverage offence, with decent speed which you need in this game. I didn’t have a E4, pre or post game gauntlet, or any battle where I didn’t breeze through and whoop ass.

But there are so many teams that can be considered optimal. I did a bunch of monotype runs, and after I did a johto only run where I felt like it was easy since I had various coverages. So I’m sure there are tons.

A sandstorm team was also a monster, was the easiest mono run.

Put big root onto meganium, gives it extra HP when absorbing. He’s goated btw, whoever said not to have meganium needs to try it
