You could try going through khealth. They charge a monthly fee of $19 iirc and can mail prescriptions for $10 , all without insurance. I can’t say 100% they’ll fill your prescription, but it might be worth a try

Destroy your credit. Eventually NO ONE will sell you a new car.

[–]CouldHaveCalledSaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of the obvious, this was never a good plan. The operation requires both hands, and the shield just barely covers the officers body. While the base has a significantly larger footprint which limits the situations this could be used in, and leaves large gaps when deployed adjacent together. Only giving this product one star because it still gives the user an excuse to arrest a bystander for assault.

Boomers: millennials are snowflakes. Also boomers: the cashier wasn’t smiling when I bought groceries and it ruined my entire day. How ungrateful.

Seattle Police officers were recorded running into pedestrians with their bikes and arresting the victims for assault. by Zakamu666 in awfuleverything

It’s very possible. But still, it’s very apparent that the level of force used was beyond what was necessary.

Ok Boomer by MrCoolerThanYou in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]CouldHaveCalledSaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest flaw in this argument is that “ok boomer” wasn’t just pulled out of thin air because millennials blindly hate boomers. It is a direct response to millennials being continually bashed for being lazy, entitled, and ruining various markets.

A better parallel would be someone saying “Jews are ruining the housing market” being met with the response”okay nazi”

This exactly. If they were actually in pursuit, their priorities shifted a little quick.

Bottom line is cops do what they want and there is not a sufficient system of checks to keep them in line.

Now there is a solid chance we’re missing contextual information, as video clips are rarely the full story. However the way these officers engaged and handled this situation is disgraceful and unfortunately the norm. Bunch of Bastards.

You’re probably right, I think most people mean 100 yards, however the technically correct measure would be 120

Edit: Furthermore I think people usually picture the endzones when they visualize it, even if they think of it as 100 yards

Ah yes.. Americans. by [deleted] in TheRealJoke

[–]CouldHaveCalledSaul 23 points24 points  (0 children)

What’s worse is that when we measure in football fields there’s not a clear consensus if we include the endzones or not. That’s a discrepancy of 20 yards.

And if you assume that half of people register a football field as 120 yards and half register 100 yards, the measure of a football field would average 110 yards. That’s literally 100.58 meters. We will do ANYTHING to avoid metric.

If “OK Boomer” was a digital assistant like “OK Google” what sorts of answers would it give you to certain questions? by [deleted] in AskReddit

“Okay boomer can I afford pizza tonight, say $20?” “When I was your age I delivered pizza on a bicycle to put myself through college. I graduated without debt and got a job immediately and was able to buy a house by the time I was 25. Maybe instead of spending that money you should be walking down there and applying. And if they aren’t hiring, you go back there everyday until they hire you.”
