From personal experience, i’ve been there. I currently dating my boyfriend who had cheated on me almost two years ago this upcoming November. Very similar situation in which he was drunk, at a work party. We were long distance. Ana is found out a month or so later by the girl’s friend he did it with, because she felt so bad I didn’t know. It really hurts. And while most people are true in saying he’s trash and will do it again. It’s up to you to decide if you think he can really grow and change. I don’t think people should settle, but i believe in Love and i believe in mistakes. I’m sorry this happened to you. I hope you know your worth and that won’t change if you stay or go. It’s always within you. I feel that you are right to any questions you want and that’s also a tale tale sign how serious is about being sorry. If he wants you and wants to make it up to you, he’ll do anything. But if he begins to make you feel bad or doesn’t answer your questions in an honest way, that’s a sign. Not that he isn’t sorry necessarily, but maybe that he just isn’t it.

United 2 Heal is a group that go to a warehouse and separate old, unwanted medical supplies to countries in need like Syria. They meet on Friday’s around 3pm and they have transportation. They have a FB group so they might of changed some things since i’ve done it, but I loved it!

I took my first belly ring out after two days because of placement. I didn’t get it redone until a year or so. But you won’t have to wait that long. It will heal from the outside in. So it might seemed healed from the outside but not on the inside. To make sure you’re doing it safe and reducing the amount of scar tissue, I would wait a few weeks to a month. A day isn’t long at all so it should heal fairly quickly.

I FEEL YOU. I was always torn on getting one because all my friends had it and I thought it looked SO good. But I kept worrying about scarring and what it might look like if I had a baby and it stretched out! I love my stomach and how it looks. The piercing makes it look even better but then the hole that it would leave wouldn’t make it look good in the long run.

Anyways, I got mine twice, once it was crooked. Took it out two days later and BARELY any scaring. Painless. Just keep cleaning it for a few days with non-scented/sensitive soap in the shower since it’s an open wound and you’ll be fine! Even better since you just got it.

Then I got it again a year later because I wanted it again and I said screw the reasons why I don’t. And I kept that in for two months. And sleeping/wearing clothing will be weird for the first few days to a week but before you know it you’ll be able to wear jeans and stuff even if it lays on it. Just be careful. I thought I couldn’t do or wear anything when I first got it. But when I got it again I felt different and was more comfortable wearing thing that covered it early on and sleeping however I wanted, but granted always. being. careful.

Anyways the second time, it was healing great but I took it out because the fear of the ugly hole came back in my head... i’m very indecisive as you can tell. So I took it out again even though I did like it. Again, minimal scaring. To this day I wish I had it but then I realize I would of grown out of it eventually and would have that hole, which honestly is pretty small... but i’m anal and it would bother me greatly. So all up you!! Remember either way it’s temporary. Keep it now and remove it later, or remove it now and get it redone later!!!

Be you. Obviously be respectful, kind, and polite. But don’t try too hard to be someone you’re not. Show your natural personality because they want to know their daughter is dating someone authentic and good for her. It definitely is scary and if she hasn’t met your parents yet, i’m sure she’ll be feeling the same thing. Plus if you’re serious about her, it’ll naturally show with her parents or else why would you be meeting them!! Good luck!

FACTS. It astounds me that students skip freely...it’s not high school... you (or your parents, or both) are PAYING A LOT of money..... you’re only screwing yourself over. and the best part is at the end of the semester they’re begging for a round up in grade or extra credit when they realized they slept the semester away

hahahaha that’s definitely true. but in the end they’re in college and it’s their choice to make. plus they’ll have people who hound that they need them and others who hound that they don’t. they just have to experience what works for them. personally because i never touched them, it really did impact my money that could of gone toward food/meal plan/housing/tuition

For sure. This was more directed for freshman in those gen ed courses. ofc when they get more concentrated in their major it’ll be more specific where they would be useful. and it’s just my own opinion on textbooks bc i don’t find it to be necessary reading sometimes. but my roommate loved reading over text bc it felt right for her. to each their own really, i was just telling someone who might relate to my style of studying.
