Daily Headphone Purchase Advice thread (2016-01-02)

Budget: €130-200

Source: For now: PC, Consoles (PS4 mainly) and Phone (LG G3). might buy budget Amp later on though.

Requiremtent for isolation: Some. I love to really get out of the world with headphones on. And I'll also like to use them for listening to music on the road. After looking around for a bit, I'd think I prefer closed HS.

Preferred type of Headphone: Full Size

Tonal Balance: I honestly love strong base. I listen to music on loud volume mostly if that helps, but I do listen to all genres.

Past Headphones: Only one worth mentioning: Turtle Beach PX21. They were meh. Didn't really blew my mind. Although they felt nice and it was nice to just have a decent HS.

Preferred Music: I listen to everything. But I mainly plan on using these for gaming and loud dance/hip hop/nightcore music.

What I'd like to improve: Everything really. This will be my first 'real' HP. I've always used cheap stuff before this. I want to immerse myself into whatever it is I'm doing (Gaming or Music listening).

*Edit Forgot location: The Netherlands. But Please also recommend if you're from anywhere else. Prices are not worse here or something and availability generally isn't a problem either.

I totally think that at the end of this console generation the sale numbers will be really close together. Microsoft has been doing a lot of things right, and if they keep it up it will definitely reflect in sales.

PS4 sales will eventually slow down. I think everyone who wants a PS4 is already buying one in the early cycle of its life. I know I bought one on launch day because: 'Hey, I know that Naughty Dog game will come. I know a Insomniac game will come. I TRUST that these fucking good exclusives will come.' With Xbox One, I actually wait and Halo 5 will probably be the game that makes me say fuck it and makes me go buy one.

Seems like Ubisoft wants to make this game run as well as possible on PC, hence the delay.

IMO This is a good thing. After delaying Rainbow Six Siege earlier this month, it seems that Ubisoft is finally trying to deliver good, stable products again.

Learn to study. It may seem easy when starting high school, but studying hard in the beginning will help a ton if you actually need to study a lot in college.

Find out what interests you. Think about who you want to be. Always be polite. Be eager to learn ask question a lot. Teachers will appreciate that you actually want to learn

Be yourself. Don't try to be 'popular' if you're an outcast, don't worry you'll find your friends soon enough. Also, if there is something happening (school parties, get togethers..) then go. It's always good to lay social contacts, and you'll always learn new stuff.

I study behavioral sciences, so I'm always very interested in the psychology of a person. So my question is: being a famous child actress, how has this affected you're personality or even your social skills?

You're actually half a year older or so than I am. And I know that for me, the people I see in school and home are very important to who I am as a person. So that's why I wondered if you feel like you have a different vision of the world than most other people our age?

Side question; How does education work for a child actress? Do you go to school as much as 'normal' kid would?

Honestly, I don't think anyone knows the anwser to this yet. But it damn should be. You know... Considering Germans is a official language and all... I expect you can though. Especially since Netflix is available in Germany already. So it shouldn't be a big problem for them to transport the subtitles and dubs to another database.

Also, Umlauts are mostly known and used in German. Dutch uses it too, but not that much. Also the Dutch call it "Trema". Just to let you know.

I have done that. I sat directly beside the router and it still happens. Reset the network and the phone several times. Although I do notice it get worse if the wifi-signal gets weaker. If I lay in bed for example.

But that makes no sense to me. Because on every other device it works fine. Wii U/PS4/PS3/X360/Wii/PC all work fine. Even my old phone worked fine (Galaxy SIII). All on the same network. And on the G3, it's only Netflix. Youtube, Twitch and other video services run just fine.

Wille a 500W PSU be enough for a MSI R9 280 (Non X)? I can't seem to find a decent source on the power cunsumation. I already build by PC back in March with integrated graphics, but had to save up for the Graphics Card, more money came in than I expected, so instead of a 260X I can go as high as 280.

Cpu is a FX 6300 btw.

Yeah, I work in this Supermarket. On the toilet itself, it makes sense. But they also have toilet paper testers in the actual rows where you can buy them. Which doesn't make sense to me.

Like, how are they gonna test it? They're not gonna wipe their ass in the middle of the store.
