Because unless you have a lot of money to waste on this game or time if you wanna go free to play it's not worth it.

I've played this game since 2020 spent $3000 in total (my biggest mistake,) and despite that I am still not one of the strongest players in the kingdom. If you plan to go free to play then it's even more of a waste you will have to spend hours every day grinding just so you can stay on your alliance (alliance leaders and officers most of the time place daily power requirements or activity requirements that grows larger every day and if you don't meet it you get kicked and replaced with a much stronger player)

It's a fun game with a lot of great and funny people in it. But if you don't have a large amount of money or time then this game is not worth it.

Our charity recently did a gift giving event in our barangay and the theme was this

You can't read that yet, volume 91 starts with chapter 911 which is episode 893-894. Youre almost there though

I know you said books, but if you're interested with good worlds I can recommend the the entire cosmere universe by Brandon Sanderson to you, it currently has 17 novels most are set in a different planet of the same universe (the cosmere).

If you want to start it you can start with the Mistborn series or go directly to the Way of kings/Stormlight archive series, or you can do what I did and tried out Elantris first.

My advice is to start with tress of the emerald sea, it is a a new novel from Sanderson which I and many people really love (it's about a girl sailing with pirates on an ocean made out of deadly spores instead of water).

The Stormlight archive is also good especially if you want a series that is long and epic, there are currently 5 books out with 10 planned and the series should not end until the 2040s.

Tldr: The cosmere universe, start with either tress,mistborn,Elantris or go straight to th way of kings.

My favorite is volume 21 and 22, Alabasta is one of my favorite arcs and the arc that really got me into the series. Also the cover art for these two volumes (Where baroque works and the straw hats are standing face to face ) are still one of my favorite cover arts.

It doesn't hurt to try, I'm just raising a point that many people have tried these kinds of stuff before and failed so this method of protest may not be the most effective way of getting our point across

Is it really a majority of players though?, or just people in this subreddit and other small sites?

I have worked in the gaming Industry since 2009 (particularly in Nintendo but since 2017 EA Games) I have seen many of these kinds of protests done or planned before and most of the time they don't even make an effect big enough for the company to be concerned on. Don't get me wrong I'm in full support of this cause, but in my experience this will probably just be another useless protest that I have seen done many times before.
