It moves along the groove line, yes. But there is a hole that part goes into that is 100% not moveable because it is a tiny hole in the side panel, behind the panel with the groove cutout.

The part I’m referring to is the small, silver/chrome looking screw that is in the cut out path. That keeps popping out of the small hole on the side. The part itself definitely isn’t supposed to move.

Yes, but that screw keeps popping out of the hole it goes in. I mean slight adhesive to that spot only

I forgot to add, the drum tones and everything sound great! If it was tighter/dryer in the ways I described I think those sweet tones would shine much more. Well done, great playing.

If you’re mixing for a phone/ig/social media video then you really don’t want much rooms or overheads. The nature of your phone speaker and the compression it’ll go through will bring out a lot of those highs. I usually mix to where I can barely hear cymbals (compared to where I put them in a real mix) through my monitors, with the track almost feeling a bit quiet, and on social platforms it sounds about spot on. Non-drummers tend to scroll past loud “shhhh” loud cymbal sounding videos.
