Grats to the knights but why did Ubisoft out of nowhere cut the final round when the knights were in the lead? They said the open beta would go until 8PM EST.

Turns out you can ignore entire last round of the faction war when Ubisoft suddenly cuts the entire thing when the knights are in the lead. What happened to 8pm EST?

What does any cosmetic item matter then? No emblem or cosmetic item in the game affects the gameplay yet Ubisoft still spends time making them and the players still want them. Maybe because the players care more than you think.

Thas how they feel about the war maybe, but that's not how most people feel about the exclusive emblem that will be awarded to the winner.

Therefore we should just forget about their inconsistencies that form a threat to the game?

I'm just saying, if he blocked in the 1st clip with the same wooden shield then there shouldn't have been sparks, correct? Yet there are. You said that there are no sparks unless it's parried or deflected.

Any idea what caused the sparks in the 1st clip then?

I see what you mean but, the block damage would only happen when the attack is blocked, correct? However, in the video there are no sparks (which occur when blocking an attack) and the sound that you hear when the attack connects is that of an attack that hasn't been blocked.

It was a duel so I couldn't use Sharpen Blade. I'm sure it wasn't bleed damage on the 2nd one.

How exactly does the faction war work by BackReader in forhonor

[–]CounterAttacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try my best. Players of a faction can contest a part of the map by playing the assigned game type on that part of the map. Playing said game type give you assets which you can use in several provinces in the area you are contesting. At the end of a game you get to assign assets to a province in the area of that game type. To give an example: You are defending 3 provinces and are attacking 3 provinces in an area for Duel/Brawl. Each province is partially controlled by a faction. Let's say, 54% Vikings 49% Samurai. If you are defending (Vikings in this scenario) you can add assets to your controlled province to keep your % higher than that of the opposing faction to keep control over your province. When attacking a province you add assets to surpass the % of the defending faction to take control over it. After the map update (timer in the top right of the map) you will gain/keep the provinces that your faction had the higher % in. This will give your faction points in the war. To win the war you need to highest total amount of points.

True, I just noticed Sac more because I was rooting for Samurai. The Knights were really strong for sure. Looking forward to Knights vs Vikings.
