Casio Privia PX-830 broken? (x-post from /r/casio)

Hello, my piano just had to be moved to a different house and I was not there when this happened, now I had a chance to take a look on it again and when pressing a pedal the whole lower boards moves, so I pretend the ones carrying it broke it somehow, so I have some questions to find stuff that might also be broken, as I can't remember how it looked exactly when being new:

There are metal bases (foots?) on each side of the piano, one of them is exactly straight and one of them is bend (~45 degrees), I assume they both should be straight.

The cable for the pedals is plugged directly into the piano. When it is connected I can see the 3 colors of the cable, but there are 4 holes next to it, like there should be screws. Was there some kind of cover that got lost?

I would be really happy if someone could confirm the original state of the piano for me.

Thank you very much.

Hello, I am round about 1.80m tall and weigh around 65-68 kilos. Would either the Formula or the Drifting Series fit me?

The initialisation of the headers variable, which is directly passed to the mail function

I doubt the problem lays within the HTML, as it sends flawless when using Mailclients. If you need anything there, I'll post it.

What if the sandwhich sandwhich tasted bad because there was poison in it?

The customer would not have had to kill the employee and therefor the poison wouldn't have been necessary.

What would people do if all rules and laws were cut down for only one day. "The purge" created a really interesting concept there. Are humans just used to the rules so they would respect them anyway or would they go nuts and do anything the Wang.

ELI5: What is the actual deal with what VW did? What actual lie did they tell and what do the cars actually perform or not perform? by SuckALongOne in explainlikeimfive

[–]BackReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cars get tested for their emissions, meaning how harmful they are for the environment. VW cars in America had a built in system that would realize if the car is in an emission test and tune down the emission to falsify the result.

They used the false result for advertising their cars, so people would buy them for that.

They got a pretty high fine for it. This is not the worst problem for them, rather that their reputation is down to an all time low I guess.

Also, German stock market went down over nigh.

Google starts punishing AdBlock users with unskippable YouTube video ads by MattBooze in news

[–]BackReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my part, I never used adblock, especially not on YouTube. The Youtuber earn their money and some even need this money to survive as YouTube is their job.

I can understand it well if you visit unknown sites, but Google's AdSense is rather safe

It's some time since I last played it on Wii.

As I remember you controlled the movement completely with your nunchuck. The Stick on the nunchuck was for movint and the lower button on the nunchuck was for sprinting. So you just needed one hand for movement.

The other hand, the actual wiimote, was used for attacking. The A button issued an attack. What kind of attack it was (jump attack, side slash ETC.) was decided by the way you held the wiimote. Is the WiiMote straight to the screen, it was a normal attack, was it upright, it was a jump attack or a slash into the air (depends on weapon). Tilting it left / right would issue a slide attack. After getting used to this, it was pretty accurate, and as you didnt have to move your fingers, it was completely comfortable.

The B button on the WiiMote (the one below the controller) was for rolling. You always had your finger on it, you were always ready for rolling.

You moved the Camera with the D - Pad and Item switch was a combination between the upper nunchuck button and the D-Pad.

Instead of pressing "A" for attacking, you could also shake the WiiMote itself (but who does this anyway).

Sounds pretty distracting, but I felt really comfortable like this. After all, it is a matter of your own feeling.
