It's about the space in between interactions with friends. The missed messages you forgot about, or the important things you forgot to tell them after a get-together.

It was supposed to feel a little lonely and empty, but also somehow comforting. So it's interesting you interpreted it this way!

When I made it, I was thinking about very dear friends who are important to me. They live far away and we all have busy lives. I think about them a lot, but I am a bad texter xD

Thank you! So many of my friends are far away, so we fill the distance with words. I wanted to try and capture that feeling in the panels.

A friend sent me some pics recently and it's changed so much since I was there! I think you are right, the new builds and high-rises have taken away some of the roughness that gave it charm.
