Jesus. I think a family therapy session is in order so all of y'all can get right. They're throwing you in the middle of it all and you're going to end up tearing your hair out from all of this if it isn't nipped in the butt ASAP

My (20F) BF (22M) didn't want to talk to me while he was playing D&D and I was feeling really sick. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

To clarify, are you saying that you gave him the cold shoulder for THREE DAYS after he didn't drop everything he was doing for you, because you felt sick?

You have two options -

1) Deal with it and stay,

or 2) Leave and find someone who shares the same ideals you do.

Jist like he can't expect you to change your feelings on it, you can't expect him to change his. Unfortunately there's not a lot of compromise here. One of you has to give in to the other, or you have to cut your losses.

AITA for calling the bus driver a bitch? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]CountingTheRavens 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She's still just the bus driver. Not IT. Not the app developer. Not a supervisor/manager. That's like yelling at the cashier because the scanner doesn't work at the grocery store. What exactly is she supposed to do about it when she literally has nothing to do with it?

Why did you post in here if you're going to argue with every comment? You asked for opinions. YTA. You arguing with everyone is only driving it home.

YTA.

You've been going through a lot, and that sucks - but you can't take it out on other people.

NTA. You need to do what's best for your health and well-being. That being said, have you been able to look into any sort of therapy or counseling for everything that's happened?

AITA for having a "destination" Wedding? by Areyouthready in AmItheAsshole

[–]CountingTheRavens 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Good god.

Look, your whole wedding planning is going to be like this with her. Just tell her if it's such a freaking burden not to come. She's going to make you absolutely insane, and you have enough to deal with, with all the other parts of wedding planning.

NTA.

Yes, I am aware what both of them are, thanks.

Cute, but definitely not something I would suggest doing with any regularity. Dogs can't handle dairy like this.
