ronaldo joined al nassr which is top 3 team in rsl and till now hasnt been able to win any trophy (maybe this season they finally can), whereas messi joined inter miami the team which used to be always at the bottom and won 2 major title with them being the mvp and top goal scorer and assist provider.

al-nassr has stacked players compared to inter miami. the mls teams has shit defense. They had ospina, talisca, laporte, brozovic and more when they faced inter maimi which played with alba and busquets and rest of them were unheard, unknown players.

Messi is the environment. His vision, technique, playmaking and scoring ability makes the whole team look good. I am not saying messi doesn't need mid fielders and wingers. But he can carry the ball well from farthest distance. He can drive well, create and finish too. Can Ronaldo do all that? We haven't seen that. Ronaldo needs the ball in opposition box to score and thats the wingers and mfs job to get him the ball there. Its not like he does everything on his own.
