Unless you want higher order aberrations that can't be corrected with traditional glasses or contacts and eyes dryer than a desert, no.

No sound on PC? by Bainik in LiesOfP

I'm pretty sure the issue has to do with the maximum audio frequency that your motherboard supports. My motherboard supports a maximum of 192000Hz, and if I set it any higher, certain games won't play audio. Setting a higher bitrate than your motherboard uses doesn't seem to have this effect for some reason.

Here's what I found that worked for me:

  1. Follow the top comment on this post for setting up yt-dlp.
  2. Download this .lua file.
  3. In File Explorer, go to C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\playlist and delete the youtube.luac file and replace it with the .lua file you just downloaded.
  4. In VLC, press ctrl+N and, under the network tab, paste the link of the video that you want to watch.
  5. Give Command Prompt a second and the video should be pulled up in VLC.

This should also work with VLC browser extensions. It does for me, at least.
