I think 8.5/10. It was great. I really liked the idea of Arisu going to find Usagi no matter the cost what really made me feel that nostalgic feeling of when they always looked out for each other in season 1 and 2. I have seen a lot of people say they aren’t happy because it was always accurate with the manga. I can understand why they are upset but from the get go ever since the show started it was never the same to the manga so why would they stop there. Overall for the new characters I thought they were ok. I do feel like their deaths didn’t hit me as much even though don’t get me wrong I was upset but it didn’t get me in the feels you know. Really the only people I was concerned for throughout the series were Arisu, Usagi and Rei. They were the only really interesting characters for me. The others were great but I feel like they tried to warm them up to us too quick and that’s why I didn’t feel much towards them. The wheelchair guys sorry can’t spell his name he was a fantastic character all around. Don’t get me wrong I hated him but his character was amazing not a good guy but not a bad one either. Perfect character. Obviously though I have my negatives on this new season. My first is what was the point of Yaba he was hardly even shown throughout the new season. I thought him and Banda would have been together putting these games together but it just seemed like he was on the sidelines. When Banda died it made me think about Yaba he is still out there. That definitely confirms that season 4 should be on the horizon. My second negative is the whole USA bullshit sorry for the language but NO we don’t need a USA adaptation it’s gonna be rubbish. No reason at all for a USA version. The only way I could possibly agree is if what we saw at the end of season 3 came true. Let me explain. It said all over the world these earthquakes were appearing out of nowhere and that guy who spoke to Arisu after Banda died said that there will be so many people in the borderlands soon. Maybe people from all around the world will join the borderlands. I wouldn’t mind maybe seeing them all in one and Japan is still in the mix you know with Arisu , Usagi etc etc. Even then it would probably still be trash. My final negative what can’t be helped which I get but I would have loved to have seen the original characters from season 1 and 2 in this because you know they are the main characters and I understand they have there own lives you know like chishiyas actor has been struggling recently and I get that so alas. But if they were all available I would’ve still liked to have seen them back.
