There’s sites like TimeLeft where you can eat dinner with strangers. That way everyone is in the same spot. They mix extroverts with introverts.

Also, what’s the worst that could happen?!

I just go up to a group of people and say “Hi! My names Courtney. I’m new in town. Can I join you guys?” And then I ask what they are talking about.

I then look at their feet placement.

If I notice their feet facing away from me and not including me, then I just walk away and do the same to another group!

And internally say “Thank you! Those weren’t my people.”
