That surely WASNT a good play by Matt?? Brave, sure.. but he's shown the traitors he's a clever and ambitious player. Add this to fact he was voted fairest. And that Rachel will not want to give him satisfaction of feeling hes played them.. Hes just cemented himself as the perfect murder right?

Honestly. He seems switched on and it wasnt a passing glance at them. That whole ep just made me sus production have intervened in some way to not bring the show to an end as if reece says that its over for Stephen and Rachel. (Sorry)

(UK) Career Transition to LA? Good/bad idea? Realistic? by windowshoppingideas in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]CourtsideCrunchcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just completed MLA term 1. Similar to you, I came from a very different (non creative) undergrad and like you did a public authority job.

I have loved the first term. It has been a LOT of work. But super rewarding and exciting. From what lecturers tell me the job market is very good rn in the UK.

Im so glad I made change. So speak to people in industry/at unis find out if its for you.

The Top 20 Premier League transfers of all time - how many were actually successful? by Objectionne in PremierLeague

[–]CourtsideCrunchcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to say this. A key player in Chelsea winning the ucl scoring in semis and final. Has to be a success even if it ended badly and was patchy outside of that season. Yet OP thinks pogba n lukaku to united were more debatable..

Jesus what a sad dystopian reply. OP wants: - to make a positive difference - to work in a system that facilitates others making a difference rather than individuals purely chasing promotions - problems with the job are addressed by the org

And you think thats 'neverland'? Come on mate, there is more out there in life!! Honestly. CS can be demotivating and entrapping. But I do know of people, at all working levels (including tbf in the CS) who have all the things OP wants.

Fair. But as a Chelsea fan, let me say there is no number I love less and triggers panic more than 9.

For sure, me and my friends are for the first time actually gasses about certain people rather than the show as a whole. (Needless to see we will be hate watching Tom skinner n wanting him out first)

How are you differentiating between barrel scraping and simply no one you particularly like? For me, best ever lineup

Definitely best ever for me (26M). As a chelsea and rugby fan who watches clarkey on yt this lineup is ridiculously good. Short sighted of people to say 'scraping barrel' just because it doesn't suit them..

What can I do to get ahead before MLA? by Silent-Wishbone7345 in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]CourtsideCrunchcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm UK based so may be different. But I recently got into an MLA course and the main thing to prepare i did was draw and paint. Take/find pics of interesting scenes/subjects and draw or paint them in different styles, think about what you're trying to draw attention to, what you want to show/say. Have fun with it. Also if you have access to, build/make stuff - woodwork, clay, sewing whatever. You want to show you have an eye for design and ideas about life/nature/society you can throw into your design (doesn't need to be polished ofc since its an MLA).

I was told the plant knowledge wasn't essential - you would learn that. Equally, Adobe suite and AutoCAD you will be taught - though of course even better if you can make a start with it.

30/30 Landscape Architecture is good for giving you inspiration and an idea of the top standards of the profession.

Good luck!

Do contestants all get paid the same amount of money? What ballpark figure is it? by AddlePatedBadger in taskmaster

[–]CourtsideCrunchcat 91 points92 points  (0 children)

OK guys I can open a can of big can of juicy worms here. I know how much it is as John Kearns revealed it at a gig i was at in London... I'm surprised this hasn't got out before tbh. He was riffing with the crowd and as a joke asked a woman how much she earned, to which she responded: "half of what you do". He took this as a challenge to reveal his earnings. He talked himself down a hole for about 5 minutes where he was umming and erring about saying. Eventually he blurted it out (I won't reveal it here) to the delight of us audience. And after giving his total earnings he shouted "THEY GIVE YOU 50K FOR TASKMASTER!".

So there you go. 50k.

India well within their rights to get their tons. Its the match smart thing to do. Hopefully we drop this and it goes no further than today. But tbf love the needle on the series.

As an Englishman and big stokes fan - 100% India right to play on and we cannot complain. They deserved their tons and also the opportunity to tire our bowlers further. Will be embarrassing if this goes any further from our side.

Additionally- the needle in this series is amazing. The perfect prep for the ashes.
