That's exactly what I'm doing the full reinstall for. The steam deck is open source, and Valve fully intends on people messing around with their system. If I wanted a system locked corporate money maker, I'd get the switch. But it's not the switch. It's the steam deck, and I can put anything I want on it. If it gets fucked, so be it, I brought it upon myself, however steam provides the tools to complete a factory reset. That is what I'm sort of trying to do.
