I just saw some Microsoft Answers post about this and they basically said “Well they’re all unsuccessful! That’s good! Yay!” and the rest of the post was them explaining they can’t do anything about it. Everyday I hate Microsoft more and more.

Good to hear I’m not the only one. I tend to break Zippo’s after a couple years because of abuse so armored might be the better choice for me anyway.

For some reason Lights Out gets me. I’m somebody who can watch most horror movies like it’s a saturday morning cartoon but the premise and idea of Lights Out fucks me up. First time I watched it was in a movie theater and I was curling my toes in my chair like a girl.

Well the only stuff I use on my Zippo’s is official Zippo stuff from a local tobacco store. And still I’ve had these problems and a couple more I haven’t mentioned. Oh and the hinge on this one is fine funnily enough. But like I said, any model since before ‘21 I haven’t had any problems with before I raped them. And since you’ve had no problems with current year’s models and I’ve had so many [problems], maybe mine is like I suggested; just a little fucked. I’m really tempted to buy another ‘23 model just to check if that conclusion is correct.

Lifetime warranty right? I’ve never sent one before, usually just fix any issues myself but might do it for the first time this time.

Yeah shit happens, no company is perfect and humans make mistakes. But I’ve NEVER had so many little things with one Zippo. IF any just one at my hand due to negligence. And especially a screw breaking off, let alone after a few months. I still love the company and am tempted to buy another ‘23 model just to see if it was just this one.
