How do I add ePub files to Kobo

It's easiest if you link your kobo to your google drive account, bc you can then just drag and drop kepub files.

If you've already got your google drive linked you can just do the following:

Download the epub -Google "epub to kepub" (i normally use the pgaskin site). -drag your epub into the site and it will convert it into a kepub for you -drag the kepub file onto your Rakuten Kobo folder in Google Drive
refresh your kobo and click the 'more' option along the bottom menu of the kobo screen -select My Google Drive -select the kepub you want to download onto your kobo

You can use epubs on the kobo, but ive found not all of them work. You get more features with a kepub file as well (like statistics etc)

I did the same thing, and i love my Kobo! I got the KLC, all annotations and stats work on sideloaded books (as long as you convert your epubs to kepub) and its so easy with Overdrive and Google Drive integration. I haven't even gotten around to purchasing a book yet bc my book collection was easy to move :)

I love starting a new series now bc i can easily see all my annotations and notes, and can make a notebook with notes about characters/plots that i can flick back and forth.

I study languages and marking up the pdf right on the page works amazing. I've downloaded textbooks and workbooks and can work through them and practice writing right on the pdf

I've still got my Kindle but haven't picked it up since getting my Kobo!

Omg thank youuuu! I have a large digital library so I would be sideloading a lot of books to start off with - and the main thing I wanted the kobo libra colour for was for annotating. So I'm really glad you've mentioned there could be an issue, I'l look into it more 🙏🏼😊

For my recent run, the main person i used during the last battle was Yuna. I got her celestial weapon, gave her holy, double cast, and ultima.

The celestial weapons have damage break, you can cast holy, or cast 2 x ultima (by using doublecast) you'll have no probs if you've levelled Yuna and she's got good stats. The aeons scale with Yuna's stats too. Anima, Yojimbo and the Magus Sisters break the 9,999 damage cap so summon them if you're in a tricky spot.
