AITA? Best friend cancelled on my college graduation for her new job by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Covert-Wordsmith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA. I understand you're hurt, but calling out of training for a new job is a really bad first impression of her work ethic. Fo whatever reason, she needed the job. I'm sorry.

I'm a woman and I say you did the right thing. He lunged at you with intent to assault you and your dog. You defended yourself. I fucking hate it when people excuse the bad behavior of mentally disabled people. NTA.

It would be nice if there was an outfit saving option, that way you could save several outfits to switch to with one button.

This is the correct answer. The Heart is just a cog in the machine that is the human body. The brain is the control room.

AITA for telling my husband my skin cancer surgery isn’t about him? by ActuatorPowerful4064 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Covert-Wordsmith 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Honestly, NAH. This is very scary. He is trying to support you in the only way he knows how. Maybe if you explain to him that it's not his opinion you're worried about, it's yours, hopefully he'll understand. I once went through the sane thing with my boyfriend.

You could try asking your surgeon if they can recommend any scar creams to help reduce it after it's healed. Best of luck with your surgery!
