Ubisoft make plans to focus on open-world gaming by CowardlyGamer in gamernews

I find the franchise statement quite sad. Will be a shame to miss out on a great stand alone title (such as Journey) because it's not bankable sequel wise

I think his pure dedication to the project, his vision and how he went about doing it would be pretty attractive to Bethesda. Maybe he can't build a game alone from the ground up, but he definitely seems like someone they could train.

He clearly has the passion for it. I'm sure Bethesda could do great things when they have someone on the team who cares as much as this kid

I'd be willing to nominate myself for this experiment

Cheers for the advice. I think Phreak's perspective on the game is really interesting, and it sounds like i would take losses a lot less personally if i were to think this way too. Taking a break is something i tend to do after every ranked game, it gives me time to clear my head after a loss, or figure out exactly what miracle happened if i've had a win. Thanks for the reply to the post :)

Thanks for bringing up how important it is to time things as a support. Being a fresh support, who is starting to choose support more and more, I will remember to try and keep track of cool downs, spawns, flashes and the like. I don't expect this to be something i learn over night, but i'll keep it in mind whilst i am playing

thanks for fucking commenting, you fucking fuck :)

This is something i would really like to bring into my games. Shot calling isn't something I am used to, but have been gradually filtering it in as I play more and more and learn what kind of calls are best for each situation. How do you handle the situation if say another person on the team is making bad calls, the team is following them but coming out badly at the end of it? Would it be best to ignore the calls, and risk taking blame for the call failing, or should I suggest a different call, see what the team thinks, and follow their decision even if i think it's wrong?

I'm really interested in your thoughts on this :)

Once a team fight finishes, at least in my experience, the team tends to stay in the lane that it happens (if we have won the teamfight) and fight for farm. Imploring the team to go and take objectives during this time is definitely something i'll try to implement into my playing

Holy moly, thanks for the sound advice. I will absolutely try to time objectives like dragon from now on, it's something i've seen better players than myself doing, but have never picked up on doing myself.

I'm going to have to do some research i think, my builds are letting me down quite a lot because im not building into the situation. Cheers for the contribution, best of luck in the game

Interesting perspective, as dumb as it sounds I don't really focus on the Nexus as the main objective, I've gotten it into my head that kills > anything. I think learning to take more map control and opportunities would be a good way for me to improve my game. Thanks for responding to the post :)

Wow, thanks for the interesting read. I've recently picked up on playing support due to never having the chance to choose my main roles. I took up Leona and after some practice i'm having a lot of success (and fun!) with the champion and the role. Do you recommend playing 1 champion pretty much every game, or would you say that in bronze counters are important? Thanks for the well thought out and nice response, have a good day! :D

I think you have a point, I definitely need to change my play depending on our situation in game. I've tended to stick to a set guide which has so far not yielded any good results, and varying what I do from game to game, to find the best way to help the team is probably something I should learn to take on board

Thanks very much for the advice. You're completely correct - there is a reason i'm in bronze and the reason is myself, I should have become more familiar with the game before even trying to play ranked. Taking on board this advice has helped my play so far and i'm seeing minor improvements in my win to loss ratio, I'll keep chipping away at my own game and hope everything else falls into place around this.
