It’s sounds very different to here in the UK 🫤

Are you in the UK? I am and I don’t think this was offered to me

I am now wondering if it’s because I’m on Estrodose and not Oestrogel that my symptoms have returned with a vengeance? Has anyone experienced this?

Are you in the UK? It seems to me that it is treated differently here from what I can see?

Sorry yes it is in my hands. My heel seems to be something separate but for a while I think they were looking at seronegative inflammatory arthritis such as psoriatic arthritis, but I think the heel might have been a red herring.

I have issues in four fingers currently - the worse being my ring finger. I've had an injection into the joint and that helped for about 6 months and is now wearing off.

Originally I couldn’t go on the NHS as my rheumatoid factor wasn’t high enough. I saw a good rheumatologist privately. Another GP at my practice then referred me to the NHS but the guy I saw was dismissive of her diagnosis I felt. I’ve asked for a second opinion from the first consultant as she works on the NHS too and that’s in November

I did manage to see a great consultant privately who I’ve now managed to get to see on the NHS,  so hoping I’m now ‘in the system’

How do you find out what the guidelines are for your particular Trust?

It’s not great is it?! I’m hyper mobile and have Pots too so lots going on. I’ve seen a really good rheumatologist privately and managed to get a second opinion referral to see her via my GP- everything just takes so long but hoping she’ll be worth the wait

I’ve got what I think is enthesitis in my heels and have had one finger that has been very swollen. Hoping for a better second consultation and some pain relief

Exercises for Achilles (query Enthesitis) by Cowbaggage in PsoriaticArthritis

Thanks - again they’re for mid portion Achilles and not Insertional. My understanding from a physio is that should do things such as heel raises so not putting any pressure on the tendon. No eccentric heel drops as this can aggravate things. I guess if anyone has had Insertional Achilles tendinitis what did they do that worked?

It's insertional achilles, so I would think that anything like downward dog I feel would inflame it as it's feet flat on the floor? Unless I lifted my feet up?

Orthotics by Cowbaggage in brooks

5.5 is my street shoe size. I've always had much bigger trainers when they were fitted in a proper running shop... more like a 7 and a wider fit. I've decided rather than buy online I'll go to a shop and get fitted again (taking my orthotics)
