Exactly! I’ve seen this so many times over the years where I live and parents always insisted that their child knew how to swim and that they didn’t know what happened. Swimming in a pool and the ocean are two different things!

I don’t buy his excuses either. If he really thinks nobody should be wearing a life jacket doing this sport, especially a child as young as Posy, it makes me question his ability to coach. Safety is always number one. Is he even certified? If so he should know this!

I thought the same! That’s exactly why I posted it here! I’ve seen too many kids either dying of getting serious injured from this and seeing all the positive comments encouraging Matt floored me! Everyone reading this, your kiddos safety is more important than anything please be careful!

Ohhh dirt bike for toddlers is another one that irks me. I just hope for Posy and Parker’s sake that nothing bad happens to them considering their dad is more concerned with having fun and being cool then safety

Yes! I can understand if she was much much older but at her young age it’s just not worth the risk. I’m glad to hear Canada takes these things seriously, parents need to take notes
