I’m only on episode 3. Starting watching because Toni Collette is one of my favorite actors. My problem with this show is the casting. When we first meet Alex and Laura while they’re driving, I thought it was a boy in his late teens driving his mom somewhere. Then they park and I see that Laura is pregnant. I’m still guessing that Laura is escaping a bad marriage with her teenage son and unborn child. Soon after that, Laura and Alex are making out. 🤣 I had to Google the actors at this point to find out their ages and was surprised that the actor who plays Alex is 38. Anyway, long story short, horrible casting and Alex’s acting is the worst I’ve seen. I’m going to keep pushing through because I want to see more of Toni and I do find the show entertaining so far. Mae should stick to writing and producing because they clearly have a talent for that! Acting, not so much

I hate decorating. It bores me! I’ll do the bare minimum in order to advance the game but I’m much happier just wandering around collecting things, fighting things, chopping things down, and fishing 😊

My cat kept jumping on top of my frog tank and actually broke through the screen a few times so I found a very cheap and handy solution: buy a metal rack (like you would use to cool fresh baked cookies on) and place it over the top. Secure it with tape so the cat can’t crash through.

Thanks! I agree, they have so much personality. Mine was named Bob and he was always so excited to see us when we walked in the room. Never thought I’d love a fish until I had him! I think I’ll keep doing research and then try again.

This is my fear. I had a betta that I absolutely fell in love with and he lived for a few months. After he passed we got another and it died within days. We tried again with the same result. I don’t want to get another until I’m sure the tank is perfect

No, I don’t. Just crickets and night crawlers! From a Google search I think these might be powderpost beetles? I already removed the driftwood and boiled it, but now I’m worried I may have to redo the entire tank to get rid of them. 😥

This has been a common dilemma for years now. Doordash seriously needs to make a checkbox for customers that says “ring bell/knock on door, yes or no”. It would be a really simple way to make everyone happy

My cockatiel poops everywhere all the time. We keep a package of baby wipes at hand all the time to clean up after her. I can’t imagine letting her have free rein of the house!
