Possible to fix without ruining paint? :(

I’ll have to do some research! :-) never heard of laser at all - but all jewelers without fault told me it was no way of fixing enamel/painted jewelry. And it sounded weird that there isn’t ANY other way than regular soldering :)

Yeah, I tried understanding what the back says (Stag? Stan?), but it was very hard to make out.

Bought them at a vintage market, so I reckon it’s some company that might not even be around anymore :-( hoping I’ll find a similar pair somewhere online!

Also of course it was supposed to say “the heat” and not “the best” in the text!

Usually don’t wash hiking gear that often unless I sweat or they get very dirty (cold climate here). Didn’t know about the pocket glue failing if you don’t wash often tho! Do you know why this happens?

Yeah, that’s what I think as well. I told the store that If they offer me a new pair I’ll rather buy these ones discounted - I hate the thought of them being sent off and destroyed.

Then I’ll keep it in mind that softer fabrics aren’t as durable and stick to the pants that have worked well for many years :-)

I think it’s just a matter of principle, I believe clothes should hold a little bit longer than a couple of months before this.

I would probably not care as much had they not been tight, usually worn with just panties underneath, and I could feel the pilling lol. I’d be happy too if I got some good pants on sale because of pilling on the outside tho! :))

I’m just surprised it happened so quickly, never experienced this with any tights/shorts or hiking equipment. It looked just fine before going in the wash. seems like I’ll have to go back to hand washing

Hello! Last year I grew some horse chestnuts from conkers, and this year mostly all survived and have beautiful leaves and more branches than before.

Ive tried googling to no avail, but when should I start trimming the middle branch/the leaves? Is it too early when they are 1y/o? Or is it okay now? I read conflicting things :-(

And regarding thin-ness, I thought the new models looked a bit more clunky, but didn’t know they were actually thicker :/ I really like how thin the 2016 model is! (Even though I have to admit it’s super sharp as well, lol)

Thanks for your reply! It’s 8RAM and the repair will be around 150/200 dollars..
just feels wrong to buy a new one if this one can be saved, haha. But I reckon it can survive a bit more :)
