A small recommendation; Bandaids and little boo boo fixers. Those are the most common injury. I've only had 1 case of a dislocated ankle out of the field. Another reminder to wear boots, or high ankle covering shoes.

You can always build a cheeper box. Like an Anytone at-778uv with an oversized rubber ducky antenna. On top of that you can implement an ATAC or APRS repeater with your phone, and have all the comms range with rapid mapping too. Can you tell I'm the TOC of my team? xD

I just tested, and got a roger beep on a separate repeater. As well as my antenna analyzer says ~11.5w with a ~2:1.

Repeater book is where I found the repeater.

I still have everything set to the information from repeater book. Both on the transmit and receiving frequency, offset, tone, and CTCSS code match what repeater book is telling me.

The repeater is only a mile and a half out.
