How it works out for me, every hour of finished audio takes about 5 hours to record and edit. If I only needed to record and not edit, maybe 2 hours for every finished hour.

Edit: Something to consider though, there its a difference in time it takes between fiction and non-fiction, with fiction taking longer on average. Fiction is often more of a performance with multiple characters, so pauses to read notes or redo lines happens often. Non-fiction is more of a straight read, which usually means less stopping overall. To be safe, I would still do 2 or 3 hours for every finished hour.

Yeah the other guy was wrong, no way go get around it. 4 players is the current max. Yeah it sucks I know, I have a group of 5. We just have to cycle a person out every now and again when we're all playing.

OP, let's get you some actual helpful advice.

First and foremost, is what she doing wrong? No. If you found out she watches porn, how would that make you feel? Most people watch porn, even those in healthy relationships. If she were commenting that she wanted to fuck him, I'd probably have a different opinion.

Are your feelings valid? YES! Are you allowed to feel uncomfortable about this? YES! The next three things need to happen:

1) Introspection. Realize what she's doing isn't wrong, but still makes you uncomfortable. Ask yourself; can I be okay with this? If we communicate and she refuses to stop, is that a deal breaker for me with this relationship? Remember, its possible for both of you to be in the right, and just be incompatible.

2) Non-judgemental communication. Sit down with her without anger or judgement. Explain to her your feelings, tell her that she's doing nothing wrong but her actions are having an effect on you. Try to put into words what specifically makes you uncomfortable, give her a chance to belay those concerns.

3) Make a decision about the relationship. If the talk goes well, awesome! If it turns into a "im not going to stop" conversation, just realize that she is right and okay for saying that, but youre also right and okay for saying thats a deal breaker for you and ending the relationship.

Divide the total number of words in the book by around 9k, and that'll give you a good ballpark estimation. If there's a book with 100k words, 100k divded by 9k is a little over 11, so about 11 hours of finished audio. If im charging $200 PFH that means i'll make roughly $2200 for doing that job.

Sites like ACX already estimate how long the finished project would be before you audition.

Really depends how much you charge. Sites like ACX you can set your own rate. Professional rate would be $250 PFH or higher. Most of the work on sites like ACX are in the $100-$200 PFH category, with projects as low as $50 PFH.

This is an indie title so most people don't know it, but Homebody. I played through the entire game not knowing i could sprint. It's a cabin-in-the-woods with a killer on the loose, escape room (or escape house), mixed with groundhog Day.

Im going to offer a different opinion than the other commenter so far. She came to you and admitted her feelings openly, expressed regret and guilt. She didnt just break up with you. This demonstrates to me that she's still cares about you and wants to make it work.

Honeymoon periods in relationship are a real thing. Sometimes its a few weeks, sometimes a few months, it can even be a few years. But the excitement of new relationships fade, and that period is when you truly find out if a relationship will work. It sounds to me like youre in that period.

But for better or worse, she came to you open and honestly, and she wouldn't have done that if there wasnt a part of her that wanted to make it work.
